Dynamic prices

On a dynamic contract the price changes every 15 minutes, and the gap between cheap and expensive hours is what a battery turns into savings. SEMS fetches the prices, adds your fees and network charges, and plans around the result.
Price sources
You choose the source on the Electricity Plan page, separately for buying and selling if your contracts differ.
| Source in SEMS | What it is |
|---|---|
| ENTSO-E (SI) | Day-ahead market prices for Slovenia from the ENTSO-E transparency platform |
| BSP SouthPool (SI) | Day-ahead market prices of the Slovenian power exchange |
| HUPX | Day-ahead market prices for Hungary |
| SEEPEX | Day-ahead market prices for Serbia |
| Bisol Energija | The supplier's own daily price list |
| Fixed schedule | Buy and sell prices by time of day that you enter yourself |
| Home tariff | Slovenian household prices with MT/VT or a single ET rate |
Pick the market your supplier uses; for "market price plus a fee", choose the market and enter the fee on the same page.
When prices arrive
SEMS fetches tomorrow's prices from 15:00 local time, retrying every 15 minutes, and rebuilds the plan as soon as they arrive. Prices are stored on the controller, so a short internet outage loses nothing, and Refresh prices fetches them again on demand.
From market price to your price
For every quarter hour SEMS adds the supplier's fee and the network energy charge of that time block to the market price, or takes the fees off when selling. Battery losses and your Minimum net profit are counted before any trade.
When a price is missing
SEMS never invents a price. The plan covers only hours that have one, and if a source fails for a whole day, the Strategy page says so.
