Events and alarms

The Events page tells you in plain language when something needs your attention, such as a silent meter, an inverter fault, a refused battery command or a quarter hour above your agreed power, with the start time and the device. The number of active faults shows next to Events in the menu.

What you see

Events are sorted by severity, from information to critical, and you can filter them by category, such as communication, device alarm, stale data, control, write failure, EV charger fault or solar string voltage. Active events have not cleared yet; the history shows everything, newest first.

Open an event to see its timeline, how often it occurred and the raw values, with one click to the affected device, charger or string.

Working with events

Acknowledge an event to show it has been seen. You can clear a fixed problem by hand, and it reopens if the condition is still there. You can export an event's details for your installer.

Getting notified

An administrator can add notification rules that send events to a web address, such as your alerting or ticket system, when an alarm starts and when it clears.

Support bundle

Download a Support bundle here when you need help from CyberSun. It holds logs, configuration and the last 24 hours of measurements, and is encrypted so only CyberSun can open it.

How long events are kept

Information events are kept for 30 days, warnings, alarms and faults for 180 days, and critical events for a year.
